RCIS

The foundation of our business is relationships based on trust, dependability, accuracy and respect. At every level, RCIS is committed to building relationships, communicating clearly and meeting your needs.  The RCIS staff understands farming and ranching—along with risk management. We know agriculture and provide extensive training to our agents and staff, including local and national claims adjusters.  A strong crop insurance system is the cornerstone of U.S. farm policy and the safety net of American agriculture. Crop insurance has become the top risk management tool for U.S. farmers and ranchers—and more than 90 percent of insurable farmland in the U.S. is now protected through the federal crop insurance system.  RCIS proudly works with industry key contacts to educate policymakers about the importance of crop insurance, particularly during Farm Bill renewal periods.  King Crop Insurance has been a contracted agency with RCIS wince 1992.

Rain & Hail

Rain and Hail Insurance Bureau began back in 1919 as a leader in developing sound insurance programs. The first generation of Rain and Hail managers are still recognized as pioneers in the crop insurance industry. In addition to forming one of the nation’s first risk management pools in 1919, they were largely responsible for establishing equitable adjusting and rating procedures. This is the groundwork of strength that led to the firm’s 1981 reorganization as an employee-owned managing general agency. In 2010, Rain and Hail was acquired by Chubb, solidifying our financial strength.  We are a company firmly rooted in agriculture for over a century. We protect farmers and ranchers now as well as the future of the industry. Farming and ranching can be risky business, which is why we strive to provide the best risk management options to keep farms and ranches running for generations to come.
